Apparently, the Splinter Cell movie has been cancelled. The main actor of the movie, Tom Hardy, has reported that they just couldn't get the script right. Originally, the Splinter Cell movie was announced back in 2012, but after more than a decade of trying to get the movie right, they ran out of money. Which Splinter Cell game do you like the most? And the next bit of news for today is The Game Awards have announced that DLCs, remakes and remasters will be eligible for awards in any category, at The Game Awards, That answers any speculation about the DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, being nominated for Game of the Year. On Monday, all the nominations will be revealed for The Game Awards 2024. Which game would you like to see get nominated for Game of the Year? And the last bit of news for today is Valve is celebrating more than 20 years since Half Life 2 was released. They released a two hour documentary about Half Life 2 where they interviewed dozens of former and current Valve staff. They also detailed why Episode 3 was never released for the game, but they did show some gameplay footage of it. Orbiter Studios have also spoken about how they're working on Half Life 2 RTX, to modernize the game, and Valve is giving away Half Life 2 and Episode 1 and 2 for free on Steam.
