PlayStation will be hosting a technical event for the PlayStation 5 on the 10 Sep 2024 at 8 a.m. PT, which is 4 p.m. for us in the UK. There is very strong speculation that there will be announcements about the PlayStation 5 Pro. If there is, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Would you buy a PlayStation 5 Pro? And the next bit of news for today is Bungie have outlined their plans for future expansions of Destiny 2. Instead of releasing one large annual expansion, Bungie is going to aim to release two medium sized expansions and also four major free content updates. They have detailed their plans up until Spring 2026. Have you played Destiny 2? And the last bit of news for today is the first 60 minutes of gameplay of the Silent Hill 2 Remake have been released. Konami did a paid sponsorship with a Japanese content creator called 2Bro and he streamed the first hour of the game. While the commentary is in Japanese, the game itself is spoken in English. If you absolutely can't wait for the game's release then be sure to check it out. Silent Hill 2 Remake will be releasing on the 08 Oct 2024 on PlayStation 5 and also PC.
