Reports are circulating that Crash Bandicoot 5 was in development by Toys for Bob, but apparently Activision pulled funding away from single player games in favor of live service games. The Crash Bandicoot franchise has a long history, starting with Naughty Dog who developed the original game. And the next bit of news for today is Will Follow the Light was announced during Gamescom 2024. It's a realistic looking single player adventure game where you have to brave harsh conditions in order to return home. It's a 2D Metrovania type game, where you'll be able to make custom combos as you battle your way through the game. The game has a unique art style, which looks almost like stop motion graphics reminiscent of the original Mortal Kombat game. The Spirit of the Samurai is set to release sometime during Fall 2024.
