The first expansion for Helldivers 2 has been announced. Escalation of Freedom will introduce a new difficulty tier, new bigger enemy types, new mission objectives, and also various bug fixes. Escalation of Freedom will be releasing on the 06 Aug 2024. Have you played Helldivers 2? And the next bit of news for today is Baldur's Gate 3 continues to see a very high concurrent player count. The game originally came out on the 03 Aug 2023, and nearly a year later the game still regularly passes 100,000 concurrents on Steam. That's according to the Steam tracking tool SteamDB. And the last bit of news for today is Ubisoft have issued a very detailed apology about Assassin's Creed Shadows. They have stated, however, that all games in the Assassin's Creed franchise are fiction, and while they are based on historical events, they're not supposed to be accurate. It has been ongoing dissent about Assassin's Creed Shadows, especially in Japan. The developers of Assassin's Creed Shadows have also said that it was always their dream to create an Assassin's Creed game in Feudal Japan. They have also reiterated apologies about inaccuracies in their marketing. Assassin's Creed Shadows is set to release on the 12 Nov 2024. Will you be playing Assassin's Creed Shadows?
