According to a post on the Exputer forum, Final Fantasy 14 mobile is currently in development at Tencent. The post delved into the history of the collaboration between Tencent and Square Enix, talking about a mobile version of Nier, which never came to fruition because of disagreements over the monetization model. In the past there was also rumours about a mobile version of Final Fantasy 11, which was also cancelled.
