The developers of Helldivers 2 have released an update to the account linking process. Previously, if you were playing Helldivers 2 on PC, linking your Steam account to PSN was optional. As of the 06 May 2024, it will be mandatory for all new players and the requirement will be extended to all current players by the end of May 2024. It has led to backlash and concern because PSN is not available in all countries. PlayStation have stated that the update is for the security of the players. Have you played Helldivers 2? And the next bit of news for today is the IP owner of Baldur's Gate, Hasbro, has decided to develop the next game after Baldur's Gate 3. Baldur's Gate 3 was developed successfully by Larian Studios, even winning Game of the Year. But Larian Studios have already said that they will not be developing the next game in the series. As a result, Hasbro has decided to spend up to a billion dollars to develop the next game internally. Have you played a Baldur's Gate game before? And the last bit of news for today is according to a leaker, Resident Evil 9 will be announced soon and will be releasing during Jan 2025. He has also stated to discard previous speculation of the game's delay. As with all speculation, leaks and rumours, please take it with a grain of salt.
