There is speculation that Resident Evil 9 has been delayed internally. Originally, there was speculation that Resident Evil 9 was going to be announced during May or June 2024 and be released during 2025. However, the new speculation is that Resident Evil 9 has been delayed in favour of a different Resident Evil game. As with all speculation, rumour and leaks, please take it with a grain of salt. When we know the official stance of the Resident Evil franchise from Capcom, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Which game do you like the most in the Resident Evil series? And the next bit of news for today is Video Games Chronicle posted a very interesting opinion piece suggesting that Fallout 5 should be developed by a different studio rather than Bethesda. The reason why is that with the release of the Fallout 4 next gen update introducing a lot of bugs and also the very long development cycle of Bethesda, they don't want to see Fallout 5 take another 10 years to be released when it's already been (nearly) 10 years since Fallout 4 came out. After the success of the Fallout TV Show on Amazon Prime is definitely a renewed interest in the Fallout series. Did you watch the Fallout TV show? And the last bit of news for today is according to the Bloober Team's annual financial report, the release date of Silent Hill 2 Remake will be announced soon. There was also wording suggesting that it may be coming to other platforms, but previously it's been stated as a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
