The latest benchmark for Final Fantasy XIV's expansion, Dawntrail, will be releasing on the 14 Apr 2024. It will be releasing at midnight PDT, which is 8 a.m. for us in the UK. It will allow you to assess whether your computer can handle the graphical update of the expansion. The Dawntrail expansion for Final Fantasy 14 will be releasing on the 02 Jul 2024. Which job do you like playing the most in Final Fantasy 14? And the next bit of news for today is Square Enix have released an update for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The update brought quality of life improvements and fixed a bug which prevented players getting the Platinum Trophy, but it also updated the battle retry menu. Some gamers were getting caught out by the menu phrase "Retry this battle", which caused them to reset the entire final boss encounter from the beginning, even though it's multiple phases. Now, the menu makes it very clear when you can retry the current phase of the fight. A performance patch for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is said to be in the works as well. When did you play the original Final Fantasy 7? And the last bit of news for today is Baldur's Gate 3 has now won all five of the major game of the year awards. It won the award at the Golden Joysticks, the BAFTA Game Awards, the Game Developer Choice, the DICE awards, and The Game Awards as well. It's the first game to have sweeped Game of the Year, all five of the major gaming award shows. Other games like Elden Ring and Zelda Breath of the Wild won four of the awards.
