ARK 2 will be delayed until the end of 2024 to allow the developers to have more time to explore other technologies and make the game as good as possible. In the meantime, the original game, ARK Survival Evolved, will be remastered and updated as much as possible. If you're a fan of the ARK games, hopefully the updates they'll do to the first game will satisfy you until ARK 2 comes out.
And the next bit of news for today is there was a surprise release of a visual novel called The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. It was released yesterday on Steam. It takes roughly 2 hours to complete. The reviews so far have been Overwhelmingly Positive. If you're interested, be sure to check it out. It's completely free.
And the last bit of news for today is the director of Final Fantasy 16 had an interview which was published on the PlayStation Blog. In the interview, he spoke about the technology behind Final Fantasy 16 and how they were able to push things forward with the PlayStation 5 hardware. They went into detail, talking about the haptic feedback when riding a chocobo, and also the adaptive triggers to simulate the heaviness of opening doors, for example. The game itself will be coming out on the 22 Jun 2023. If you're looking forward to it, a demo should be releasing 2 weeks before the launch of the game.
