DreadXP had an interview with the Chief Marketing Officer at the Bloober Team and they explained how the Silent Hill 2 Remake came to be about. Konami approached the Bloober Team and said if you can deliver a concept trailler for Silent Hill 2 Remake, we will allow you to make the entire game. They were able to deliver one successfully with a lot of passion. Now they are leading the charge for Silent Hill 2 Remake.
And the next bit of news for today is Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin had an interview with the Hollywood Reporter where they were talking about The Last of Us TV show. Neil Druckmann also spoke about how there is more story to tell for The Last of Us, and there is still speculation about a potential The Last of Us Part 3. Naughty Dog also released a blog post about The Last of Us, given its approaching its 10 year anniversary, in which they showed another concept image of the multiplayer to go along with the first one. The last bit of news for today is Jim Ryan, who is the CEO of PlayStation, took to the stage at CES 2023 to make several announcements about what PlayStation is working on, including Project Leonardo, that is a fully customizable controller to help disabled gamers, which I think is awesome. They also announced that PlayStation 5 has sold more than 30 million units as well as 30 games coming to the PlayStation VR2, including a free upgrade for Gran Turismo 7.
