Studio Onoma, formerly known as Square Enix Montreal is going to be closed down and along with it several of its mobile games are going to be delisted in early Dec 2022 and then completely shut down in Jan 2023. A few of the staff will be moved from the studio to Eidos Montreal, which is also now owned by The Embracer Group. These things happen unfortunately and hopefully the staff will be treated well in the next endeavors.
And the next bit of news for today is Studio Frogwares has released a new trailer for Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake. It's a remake of the 2006 game and it was funded on Kickstarter. It will be a reimagining of the game with significant rewrites as well. The initial trailer was shown during the Golden Joystick Awards 2022 so if you're interested then be sure to check it out.
And the last bit of news for today is miHoYo will be doing a Genshin Impact 3.3 Special Program on the 25 Nov 2022. That's to show more details of Patch 3.3, which includes new characters and more of the game. Patch 3.3 for Genshin Impact is set to release on the 07 Dec 2022.
