G4TV is closing down again shortly after relaunch according to a report on Deadline. A leaked memo from the CEO explained that while they invested heavily to try and make G4 a success, they just weren't able to. If you care and if you've been watching G4TV, know that it's shutting down and probably this time for good.
And the next bit of news for today is content creator Sasha Grey has explained that she will be the character Ash in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty. And I do like it when content creators make their way into games and I hope to see more of it in the future. One of my favorite streamers, CohhCarnage was one of the first content creators to be in Cyberpunk 2077 as Garry the Prophet and it was really awesome to witness. I hope one day I will also be in a video game. We'll see.
The last bit of news for today is there will be a Silent Hill Showcase on the 19 Oct 2022 at 10 p.m. in the UK or 2 p.m. Pacific Time. And fans have been wanting any sort of information about Silent Hill for a long time and there's been a lot of rumors, which I've touched on in previous news. We will see what they announce on Wednesday and hopefully the series will be revitalized.
