Nintendo have uploaded a new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which shows off new items and explains more how they're going to be used in battle to win Pokemon battles. If you're interested be sure to check the trailer out.
And the next bit of news for today is HBO showed teasers for several TV shows coming to HBO Max and included in that is The Last of Us TV show but if you've been waiting for it then early next year you'll be able to watch it.
And the last bit of news for today is a £5 billion lawsuit has been filed in the UK against PlayStation to the Competition Appeal Tribunal. The lawsuit has been filed by Ms Alex Neill who stated "With this legal action I am standing up for the millions of UK people who have been unwittingly overcharged. We believe Sony has abused its position and ripped off its customers." This case is only possible because of an opt out collective action regime that was introduced during the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It means everyone has opted in automatically. If they win then there is an estimated damage total of £67 to £562 compensation for every single UK customer that's affected by this that hasn't opted out. These sort of suits can take months, maybe even years to resolve but if there is any sort of verdict then I'll be sure to report on the Gaming News.
