Nordisk Games have acquired Supermassive Games. Nordisk is more of an investment entity who have bought now three or four game studios. It's not to be confused which THQ Nordic or the Embracer Group. They're two completely separate entities. Nordisk Games bought a 30% stake of Supermassive back in 2021 and now they're going for 100% ownership. Recently Supermassive Games launched The Quarry. They are known for games like Until Dawn and also they are working on the Dark Pictures Anthology.
The next bit of news for today is now is Amazon Prime Day 2022, where you'll be able to go on Amazon and you'll be able to get deals on thousands and thousands of products. If you're an Amazon Prime member, you can make sure to take advantage of it. I'll leave links in the description for both the US and the UK stores if you're interested.
And the last bit of news for today is the Last of Us Part 1 has gone Gold. What that means it's in a stable enough state to be burned to a master disk, to be mass produced and sold. Naughty Dog have said as well that in the next month or two, they're planning to show off some of the gameplay of the game before the release.
