There's been some criticism online of The Last of Us Remake saying that it's just a cash grab. Robert Morrison, who was one of the developers of the original game, said, "Actually it's the most meticulously built and crafted project that I have ever seen or been a part of in my entire career. The highest level of care and attention to detail possible." And I am a big fan of the original The Last of Us game. I listed it as my second favorite game of all time recently and I am definitely looking forward to the remake. If a game is filled to the absolute brim with microtransactions, then I will consider it a cash grab.
The next bit of news for today is Yoshinori Kitase had an interview with Dengeki Online where he explained that no major events or locations will be missing from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that were experienced in the original Final Fantasy 7 game, but they won't necessarily be in the same order that we experienced in the original Final Fantasy 7.
And the last bit of news for today is talking to IGN, the Producer of Crisis Core, Mariko Sato, explained how the remaster is going to be targeting 120 FPS on PC and 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is following the criticism of the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PC. Hopefully, the remaster of Crisis Core will run really well when it comes out.
