Xbox and Bethesda are going to have a game showcase on the 12 Jun 2022. Hopefully, we'll get information about Starfield, as well as many other games that they're working on. And in the last day or so, the Activision Blizzard Shareholders have approved the sale of the company to Xbox (Microsoft). Hopefully, we'll get more stability in Activision Blizzard and more amazing games will come out from the company.
The next bit of news for today is EA have launched the EA Creator Network with promises of early access to games, exclusive opportunities, perks, swag, partnerships and more. If you're interested in any of the games that EA create, be sure to submit an application to join the Creator Network.
And the last bit of news for today is there was an update about Final Fantasy 16's development from Naoki Yoshida, talking to UT Magazine. He said, "We're in the final stages of development for the new numbered game in the series, Final Fantasy XVI. We aim to deliver a comprehensive game full of story and gameplay. Unlike an online game that involves many players at the same time, Final Fantasy 16 offers a different experience where it focuses on the individual player and immerses you in the story. I think it's a very fleshed out story. For those of you who have grown up and realize that reality isn't kind to you and have drifted away from Final Fantasy, we hope that Fantasy 16 will be a game that can bring back anew the passion that you once had with the series." Fingers crossed, we will get details about Final Fantasy 16 soon, and I think a lot of people that I know are definitely looking forward to it.
