Video Transcript

SkeleMann's Twitter account tweeted out saying "PSA Dark Souls 3 PC. Hey folks, on PC there is a new very serious exploit, plaguing Dark Souls 3, which can cause lasting damage to your computer. This could break your PC, let your login information be shared or execute programs in the background." And he goes on to explain in more detail about what he's found. Potentially, right now there's an exploit going on in Dark Souls 3 PC. It might be worth looking into that and potentially being cautious when approaching the game just to make sure that you keep your PC safe. And the next bit of news for today is the Twitter account Yakumono tweeted out saying "I finally have the Nintendo 64 NSO update data. Whatever fix they did for Zelda Ocarina of Time, it was not added as a hack, seems to be an actual emulator fix." And then again he goes on in more detail explaining it. I am personally still waiting to play Zelda Ocarina of Time again, because it is my favorite game of all time, on Nintendo Switch. And when it first launched there were some issues with the performance. What these people, who are looking into it are saying, or speed runners and so on, is that the issues might actually be with the emulation on Switch rather than the game itself. We will see with more time if Nintendo continue to fix the emulation software they're using on Nintendo Switch and then hopefully I can jump into the game when it's deemed worthy. This week's feature and shout out is going to go to Digital Foundry. Digital Foundry is a YouTube channel where they do analysis about the performance of games across different platforms as well as technologies being used, whether certain textures are being properly loaded or certain technologies smooth out the graphics properly and stuff like that. And they do really in depth analysis of each game that they cover and they talk about hardware that's available as well, graphics cards and so on. Please check out Digital Foundry. They also have a Patreon where you can download the best version of the videos. And also they put a lot of work into their channel. It's really obvious when you look at it. They themselves have said that a typical video can be 20 to 60 hours of work. Shout out to Digital Foundry. I've been watching them for a very long time now. I think I started watching them when they had about 200K subscribers and now they have 1.2 million, so it's been great to watch their growth.
