PlayStation have opened the ability to order PlayStation 5 directly from them via PlayStation Direct. And right now it's available in the US, the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. If you are still trying to get a PlayStation 5, then you might be able to get one from PlayStation directly if you happen to be in one of those countries. Register your interest and on the website you can put your email and they'll notify you when they're available to order. It could be another avenue for you to help you get a PlayStation 5.
The next bit of news for today is Phil Spencer, who is the head of Xbox, had an interview with IGN where he was talking about his impression of the PlayStation proposed Game Pass. And part of what he said includes "So when I hear others doing things like Game Pass or coming to PC, it makes sense to me because I think it's the right answer." He's been talking about how he doesn't believe 100% that what Xbox is doing is pioneering or making moves and so on, which are very clever. He just felt that things like Game Pass were inevitable. And it's nice that the industry is grasping that, including potentially PlayStation. We will see if we get any more information about PlayStation Game Pass, which has been previously codenamed Sparticus, in the future. I'll be sure to announce it when there's any official word.
The last bit of news for today is the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter tweeted out saying "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5, 2.8, 3 and the Remind DLC, as well as all in one Integrum Masterpiece will launch on Nintendo Switch via cloud on February 10. From today, you'll be able to try out free playable demos of 1.5+2.5, 2.8 and 3 and we hope you have fun playing." The reason why that they have to be streamed on to the Nintendo Switch is most likely because the Nintendo Switch is not powerful enough to play the games at their appropriate settings. It's simply streamed to the Switch via the Internet. I am a big fan of the Kingdom Hearts series. I have been for a very long time now since the PlayStation 2 days, and I would highly recommend it. If you haven't had a chance yet to jump into Kingdom Hearts, it's a mix of Disney characters and also Final Fantasy characters, all in a shared world, with some unique characters to the Kingdom Hearts franchise as well, so I hope you have fun with it.
