Nintendo is absolutely dominating Amazon in terms of bestsellers and video games. Amazon has a page where they show the best selling games in the Video Games Category for 2021, and it's updated daily. By scrolling through it and looking at all top 50 of the best sellers, you can see that most of them are Nintendo based, so good for Nintendo, they keep dominating because they keep producing amazing games.
The next bit of news for today is Hajime Tabata, who was the Director behind Final Fantasy 15, has been speaking to a website called for 4Gamer about his future plans under his own studio. He left Square Enix back in 2018 to make his own studio called JP Games, and in the Google Translated interview it says "It looks like we'll be able to unveil the RPG on the development later this year. The goal for 2022 is to expand the game business and the meta verse business to power up the company." And he was also talking about how he's especially impressed with The Matrix Awakens the Unreal Engine 5 experience. We will see what he has planned. Hopefully, it will be good. Final Fantasy 15 was fantastic under his direction, so hopefully his own RPG from his own studio will be great.
And then the last bit of news for today PlayStation Game Size tweeted out saying "According to PlayStation database, God of War Ragnarok is coming 30 Sep 2022. Maybe it's just a placeholder." I guess we'll have to wait and see. I am looking forward to the next God of War. I absolutely loved God of War 2018. I thought it was incredible. I got the Platinum Trophy for it, so hopefully God of War Ragnarok will be good as well.
