BioShock 4 details are being speculated on. One of the speculations is it's going to be set in an Antarctic setting. The lore is going to be to be connected to the other previous games such as BioShock Infinite and that we will get a potential 2022 release announced soon. There's been more and more details emerging about BioShock 4, so hopefully we'll get into it. BioShock Infinite blew my mind literally. I'm definitely looking forward to the series continuing in the future. And then the next bit of news for today is according to a report from Bloomberg, PlayStation are working on a new subscription service to rival Xbox Games Pass code named Sparticus, which will combine PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Now and all of their services together so they can offer a suite of services like Xbox Game Pass. We will see if that's true. The PlayStation Now is their equivalent of cloud based streaming service just like Xbox xCloud, and then PlayStation Plus is basically the same as Xbox Gold. We will see hopefully we'll get details soon. If it does happen, I'll be sure to report it. And then the last bit of news for today is Geoff Keighley has confirmed that Activision Blizzard will not be at this year's Game Awards, so he tweeted out saying "Beyond its nominations I can confirm that Activision Blizzard will not be a part of this year's Game Awards. The Game Awards is a time of celebration for this industry, the biggest form of entertainment in this world. There is no place for abuse, harassment or predatory practices in any company or any community. I also realize that we have a big platform which can accelerate and inspire change. We are committed to that. But we all need to work together to build a better and a more inclusive environment that everyone feels safe to build the world's best games. All of us are accountable to this standard. Incredible games and the talented developers who build them are who we want to celebrate. See you on Thursday." I can't tell from this if that means he himself did not allow Activision Blizzard to come to the event, but who knows? But generally because I've reported on it several times now they still need to get their act together over at Activision Blizzard, so hopefully it will happen sooner than later because they do make great games and people deserve to just go to work and not be subjugated. Hopefully it's another step towards a better future for the company.
