Adam Kicinski, who is the CEO of CD Projekt Red has had an interview in a Polish magazine, which I won't even try to pronounce, where he talked about the future of Cyberpunk 2077 and also The Witcher series. And the highlights of the interview included the fact that they're working right now on Patch 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077, which is aimed at current gen, which means PlayStation 4 and so on to carry on fixing the game with performance issues and so on. And they are pushing back the next gen release of the game until the current gen version is released because they still see the long term potential of Cyberpunk, which is something I reported yesterday and they're working very hard on it. And right now CD Projekt Red still employs something like 1200 people and 660 of those are developers, so they are working very hard to try and fix Cyberpunk. Of course, some people might have the attitude of too little too late, but we will see. I'm still looking forward to the next gen release of the game and I will wait patiently so that my first real experience of Cyberpunk is the best it can be.
And then the next bit of news for today is back in May, a website was set up called theresalwaysalighthouse.com, which is a reference to a line in BioShock Infinite, and it's a tease for potentially BioShock 4. Now that is further confirmed by the fact that if you do the whois look up, which is basically the service you can use to look up the owner of any website, then you can see that theresalwaysalighthouse.com is owned by Take Two Interactive, which is the parent company of 2K who developed BioShock. We will see if we get any more information soon. And the reason why this has come up again since May is because the information for the whois was literally updated yesterday. It's hinting that there might be some attention or some changes coming to the website soon. Of course, it's all speculation at this point, but who knows?
And then this week's feature and shout out is going to go to MrBeast. It has to because basically MrBeast has created really... he's had a good year, let's put it bluntly. Pretty much every video he's uploaded, has had between 40 million and 100 million views, and his latest video has had nearly 100 million views and probably will hit 100 million views today in the last three days. He uploaded a video where he recreated the Squid Game in real life, and he had 456 people to compete for $456,000, which is insane, and it was a very good video. I really liked it. And you guys know that I am a supporter of MrBeast I have been for a long time. I've been for years even. I was a supporter of MrBeast back when he had maybe 2 million subscribers, and now he's got more than 80 million subscribers. He's always growing. And the reason why I support him as well is because of the charity work he does, whether it's Team Seas or Team Trees, food drives, Beast Philanthropy and so on. That's the aspect of what he does that I really care about. He's already given away more money now in his early 20s than most people give away their lifetime. Shout out to MrBeast, not that he needs it from me, but I want to recognize that good work is simply good work. And he makes very entertaining videos in my opinion. And I wonder where it's going to go from here.
