The fifth episode of Dying 2 Know, which is the podcast from Techland about the upcoming Dying Light 2 will be broadcast on the 02 Dec 2021 at noon PT, which is 8 pm BST and it will feature a new 15 minute gameplay trailer of the game. Dying Light is a zombie survival game which can be played in co op as well. I would say it's one of the better zombie survival games. I love the first game. I'm actually looking to revisit it very, very soon and I'm definitely looking forward to the second one, so more details the better.
The next bit of news for today is Cyberpunk 2077 actually apparently had a good day, which sounds strange to say almost. Pawel Sasko, who is the quest designer at CD Projekt Red for Cyberpunk tweeted out saying "Last days Cyberpunk 2077 received a flood of very positive reviews on Steam from the new players. You can't imagine what it means to me", and CD Projekt Red themselves have said that they're going for the long game, but they think the more that they fix it over the long term, Cyberpunk will still sell well. The Witcher 3 came out years ago and it's still selling very well. And to put in perspective, GTA 5, which came out like eight years ago now is still selling millions of copies, constantly selling new copies. It is definitely a good idea to keep updating really big games and especially big open world games, because over the long term it could be a cash cow for the different game devs.
The last bit of news for today is Dead By Daylight will be available for free on the Epic Games Store between the 02 Dec 2021 and the 09 Dec 2021. It's going to be next week's free game on Epic Games Store. All you literally need to do is just open the Epic Games Store, go to the store during that time, redeem it for free and it's on your account forever. You don't have to pay for any membership, you don't have to do anything else. And Epic Games do that at their own expense simply because they want more people to be on the Epic Games Store. It's a tactic they've been using for a very long time now and it seems to be working.
