100 days ago an open letter was sent by the Ubisoft staff with certain demands about how employees are treated similar to what was going on at Blizzard. However, a group that consists of former employees and current employees feels that not enough has been done. They sent out a tweet saying "100 days ago we signed our open letter set our four key demands. None of the demands have been met. So today we're launching a new petition, open for all our supporters to sign, please sign and share." They're not happy with the lack of updates and changes which have been made at the company. Hopefully things can move forward because as long as they keep fighting for it, hopefully good things will happen eventually. Simple as that.
And then the next bit of news for today is the pre load for the GTA Trilogy is now available. What that means is you can download data for the game ahead of their release on PlayStation and Xbox and so on to save you time when the game actually fully releases. From reading a bit closer about it, the download size for the game is about five times larger than the original PlayStation 2 sizes, which should be no surprise given that there's modern textures and so on. It requires a lot more space. But to put it in perspective, just so you don't panic, basically, GTA III, for example, on PlayStation 2 was about 1.5 GB of space required, and now it's about 5. Compared to other games which have been coming out recently, that's still very small.
And then the last bit of news for today is the expansion for Final Fantasy XIV called Endwalker has been delayed by two weeks. Originally it was supposed to come out soon in the next couple of weeks, but now it's been delayed until the 7 December with early access starting on the 3rd December. What I'm going to do is I'm going to read through the full announcement and put a video about it on my main channel. I think that'd be better that way.
