The Epic Games Store is going to be giving out Aven Prime as the next free game. They sent out a tweet saying that "Discover Aven Prime, an alien planet of deserts, tundras and wetlands light years from Earth. Build your colonies into massive sprawling cities while dealing with the threats faced when settling on a new world." And you can get it for free on the Epic Games Store. The way it works is when a game is given out for free, you have a week, two weeks, it depends on the campaign, to redeem the game for free and then you can add it to your account, but it will be on your account forever. No catch. You don't have to pay for it. There's no membership like PlayStation Plus, nothing. It's yours forever. You just have to redeem it. If you're interested, go ahead. And the reason why Epic Games do that is so that they can get more people onto the Epic Games Store and they do at their own expense.
The next bit of news for today is Call of Duty Vanguard releases today. It will feature a campaign mode based in World War 2. It will feature multiplayer and it will feature zombie mode, and the zombie mode is going to be expanded as well. I was actually quite interested in the campaign more than anything else because I tend to be more of a story based player rather than a multiplayer, but it hopefully will appeal to Call of Duty fans at least for a while before they release something else.
And then the last bit of news for today is Forza Horizon 5 has also come out today as well, and it's expanded a lot on Forza Horizon 4. It's set in Mexico. The world map is a lot bigger. It features hundreds of cars, hundreds of customizations stuff like that, online open world play and stuff like that. And it receives some very favorable reviews from companies like IGN and GameSpot, which are worth checking out. And if you have Xbox Game Pass, you might actually already have it. It's a case of you might not actually need to buy it, but that's something for you to know and for you to check.
