Devolver Digital has gone public, which means they are now selling shares in the company. This morning they were able to generate about $260,000,000 which puts the valuation of the company around $950,000,000 just under $1 billion dollars. Good for Devolver Digital. Hopefully they can keep releasing more games. Devolver Digital tends to focus more on the indie style games in case you've never encountered them before.
The next bit of news for today is the Lost Ark Closed Beta is going to be going live in just over an hour from recording of this video. It will be going on from today for I think a whole week and if you're in the Closed Beta you'll be able to stream it, make videos without any sort of restrictions at all. I was lucky to get a key via a website that just gave out 20,000 of them so hopefully you can get in if you're interested in Lost Ark to try it out.
And then the last bit of news for today is Bandai Namco released a 15 minutes gameplay trailer of Elden Ring via a live stream that they did just an hour or two ago, and it showed off a lot of upcoming features of Elden Ring, including that you'll be able to do co op, some horse back combat with bow and arrow, some stealth combat as well. You'll be able to take enemies down in stealth and things like that. And the thing that I'm most happy about is the fact that you can go in with co op because I tend to not do too well in souls type games on my own. If I have a friend with me in co op, maybe we have a chance. We will see. I'm looking forward to it. It's coming out in February next year and you can preorder it now. It's up to you if you're interested in souls like games. Elden Ring is the next one that's very hyped at the moment.
