Video Transcript
Yesterday there was apparently a massive data leak from Twitch. Twitch themselves have Tweeted out to confirm it. They tweeted out saying "That we can confirm a breach has taken place. Our teams are working with urgency to understand the extent of this. We will update the community as soon as additional information is available. Thank you for bearing with us." Some of the things that have been posted to social media, include details of the earning of the biggest streamers on the platform, and also as well about a secret project apparently Amazon were working on as a competitor to Steam code-named "Vapor" and stuff like that. Now what I'm going to do is because the gaming news tends to be quite sure. I'm going to make a separate video on my main gaming channel talking about this in detail because there's a lot of information to go through. Please head over to my main gaming channel later today and you'll be able to see my thoughts on the situation.
The next bit of news for today is PlayStation is making it harder to buy games or access anything on the store if you have a PlayStation 3 or a PlayStation Vita. Starting in about ten days from now, you won't be able to top up your PlayStation 3 PlayStation Wallet using a credit card, debit card or PayPal, which basically means you won't be able to top it up. You'll have to do it via the website. Now you will still be able to buy in-game DLC for the platforms, but I think it's PlayStation's way of basically saying that can we please move on, please move on from PlayStation 3. But the problem is is that some people don't have a choice and also as well, some people just have a lot of nostalgia for the old consoles.
Then the last bit of news for today is Far Cry 6 has released today and I am very much looking forward to playing it with my friends, especially in Co-Op, because these sorts of games they're fun at their own, but they're especially fun with friends. That's why I'm really looking forward to it. It's not about it being the best game ever, with the best story. That's definitely not the case by any means, but it's reviewed quite well. And Co-Op in Far Cry games tends to be incredibly fun. I'm looking forward to that.
