Apparently Konami is working on new Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill games. It's been a while since they've announced what they've been working on, but it's nice to see that they are taking beloved franchises and hopefully will revive them. Now there was a rumor a while ago Konami was going to be taken over by PlayStation and then PlayStation were going to hand the Metal Gear series back to Hideo Kojima, who was the original Director of the games, but that never turned into anything. If it does actually ever happen, then I'll be sure to report it on the Gaming News.
The next bit of news for today is Rosario Dawson is going to be playing one of the major characters in Dying Light 2 You might recognize her as an actress who has been in a lot of TV shows like if you watch any of the Marvel stuff on Netflix or Disney Plus now I guess because it's all moved. She was in Luke Cage or Daredevil or Iron Fist. She was in The Defenders. You might recognize her from Zombieland. There's so many things she's been in, like when you look at her portfolio on IMDb, she's been a busy bee. She's been in a lot of things, so hopefully she bring a lot to the game. I'm looking forward to seeing what her character in Dying Light 2 is like when the game finally comes out.
And then the last thing I want to announce today is I want to give my shout-out and feature this week to Neon_Genesis_. Neon_Genesis_ is a good friend of mine. He's a live streamer on Twitch and he has picked up recently speedrunning Final Fantasy VII. He's going for finishing the original Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation in less than 7 hours. That's what he's working towards. And he's also learning how to speed run Final Fantasy VIII at the moment as well. Be sure to check him out. He recently got Partner on Twitch as well.
