James McAvoy, the actor that you might have seen in Xmen and other TV shows, has revealed that he had a very serious gaming addiction to a point where he would be up late at night playing video games and it would get in the way of him learning lines and ending up exhausted during shoots. The way that he managed to deal with that is by literally melting the disc of his favorite game, which is Elder Scrolls Oblivion. It's interesting that he has been dealing with video game addiction, but most recently he appeared as a voice actor in the game Twelve Minutes that just came out a couple of days ago. But that's, I feel, a more positive step. For a lot of us here that have been video game addicts at one point or another I say good for you for turning it into a positive. And I hope more mainstream actors and Hollywood actors get into the gaming industry because they'll only make even better.
The next bit of news for today is Activision is basically all in for the next Call of Duty game, where 8 out of it's 10 core Studios are working on the next Call of Duty game or on Warzone. Call of Duty is basically where Activision's priority is right now. Hopefully it will lead to a higher quality game to be delivered. As I said yesterday, I was underwhelmed by the trailer that was released so far. But Call of Duty is not really my thing to be very honest, but I am fully aware that the Call of Duty has a massive player base and by all means, there's probably a lot of people who are very excited about it. We will see how that turns out after the work that they're putting in.
And then the last bit use to us today is Aloy, who is the main protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn is going to be coming to Genshin Impact randomly. In Patch 2.2 in Genshin Impact She will be available in the game from the 13 Oct 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the 24 Nov 2021, just over a month later, on all other platforms, so you'll be able to play as Aloy if you play Genshin Impact. That's very interesting. And I am a fan of both. Simple as that because you can find I've got many tutorial guides for Genshin Impact on my main gaming channel and I've also platinumed Horizon Zero Dawn. I think it's an interesting crossover and it's probably going to be the first and many to be perfectly honest, we're probably going to see more collaborations between different game studios towards Genshin Impact, just like we have done for years when it comes to the game Fortnite. We will see how it turns out. And if you're interested, please check out the trailer that they've already released to show what Aloy looks like and potentially her abilities and stuff like that.
