Video Transcript

Pizza Hut Delivery UK are getting more into the gaming scene. They're supporting more esports events and so on. And they're trying to set up events on Twitch, for example, via Twitch Rivals. They want to arrange pizza giveaways and stuff like that. So it's interesting to see a pizza joint getting involved in gaming. But just like we've had KFC Gaming set up, it's nice to see more and more companies embracing gaming as they are. Yeah, Pizza Hut is on the radar. The next bit of news, Windows 10 and Windows 11 are going to be able to take advantage of DirectStorage, which is the DirectX feature. So what DirectStorage does is it helps the games to bypass the processor so it can load games from memory into the graphics card without going through the processor. That's the DirectStorage component. And it was more introduced with Xbox Series X and it will be featured apparently quite heavily in Windows 11, but they are going to bring it into Windows 10. And as a you know, gamer and I'm assuming that you guys watching also gamers, it just means faster loading times, better gaming experiences on PC. Simple as that. It's a good thing. And then the last bit of news for today is Ordinance Survey want to make their own augmented reality app, just like Pokemon Go. The idea will be is that you will explore the countryside, you will get information about where you are and so on. But it won't be like Pokemon Go in terms of you have to constantly look at the phone in order to find your places. It's more just to encourage people to explore go on hikes, you see the countryside and so on order. Survey are basically the company that makes the maps of the UK. So when you've seen the A to Z or any general map of the UK and they show all the areas of the UK and the different heights of the land and so on, most likely that was made by Ordinance Survey, that's who they are. It's interesting again to see a sort of non gaming company gain inspiration from gaming, and I think that's going to only be a good thing.
