Unlocking the Pictomancer Job

To unlock the Pictomancer job in FFXIV, you must first reach level 50 in any Disciple of Magic or Disciple of War. Then, head to Old Sharlayan and speak to the NPC called Art Enthusiast to start the quest "Master of Colors". This will begin your journey as a Pictomancer.

You can find the Art Enthusiast in Old Sharlayan (X: 12.0, Y: 13.0).

Follow the questline, and you'll unlock the Pictomancer job, gaining access to its abilities and equipment.

The Pictomancer job was added to Final Fantasy XIV in the Dawntrail expansion and offers a unique playstyle focusing on magical attacks and art-based abilities.

First Steps as a Pictomancer

After completing "Master of Colors", you'll receive your first Pictomancer weapon and ability. Continue the job questline to unlock more abilities and deepen your understanding of the Pictomancer's role in dealing magical damage.

Engage in various quests such as "Artistic Ambitions" and "Colorful Creations" to build your skills and reputation as a Pictomancer.
