In this FFXIV guide, I show how to unlock the Monk Job.Unlocking the Monk Job
To unlock the Monk job in FFXIV, you must first reach level 30 as a Pugilist and complete the class quest "Return of the Holyfist". Then, head to Ul'dah and speak to Gagaruna in the Pugilists' Guild to start the quest "Brother from Another Mother". This will begin your journey as a Monk.You can find the Pugilists' Guild in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (X: 9.4, Y: 10.2).
Follow the questline, and you'll unlock the Monk job, gaining access to its abilities and equipment.
The Monk job was added to Final Fantasy XIV in the original release and remains a staple DPS role in the game.
First Steps as a Monk
After completing "Brother from Another Mother", you'll receive your first Monk weapon and ability. Continue the job questline to unlock more abilities and deepen your understanding of the Monk's role in dealing damage.Engage in various quests such as "Insulted Intelligence" and "Return of the Monk" to build your skills and reputation as a Monk.
