Unlocking Sylph Tribal Quests

Before aiding the Sylphs in their quest for harmony, you need to complete the "In Pursuit of the Past" main scenario quest in the A Realm Reborn expansion. Once you have earned the trust of the Sylphs, a series of tribal quests will become available, inviting Disciples of War and Magic to engage in a narrative that goes beyond mere task completion.

Your journey begins with a step into the East Shroud, where the Sylphs" tale of coexistence awaits, and where many adventurers find themselves drawn to the mystery of the forest.

You can find them at Little Solace, East Shroud (X:22, Y:26).

You can unlock them by doing the following quest:
Seeking Solace - NPC: Elder Frixio
Level 42
East Shroud (X:22, Y:26)

The Sylph Beast Tribe was added to Final Fantasy XIV in Patch 2.1.

First Contact: Meeting Elder Frixio

After completing the "In Pursuit of the Past", Elder Frixio, a prominent figure among the Sylphs, becomes your guide to their quests. Engage him in conversation, and you will start a quest chain that forms the foundation of your relationship with this beast tribe.

Through quests such as "A Simple Gift" and 'shadow of the Silver Tree", you build a mutual understanding and respect with the Sylphs, opening doors to daily tasks and rewards.

The Key to Tribal Trust

Completing 'seeking Solace" is crucial for establishing your standing among the Sylphs and gaining access to their daily quests. This pivotal quest, located at Little Solace, is your rite of passage and one of the main Sylph quests. It is here, in the company of Elder Frixio, that you pledge your support to their tribe and their endeavors.

As a Disciple of War or Magic, the realm of tribal quests beckons, promising daily challenges and the chance to strengthen your newfound alliance while enjoying the unique culture of the Sylphs.

A great way to start earning reputation with the Beast Tribes in Final Fantasy XIV is to complete their daily quests, which are available once you've completed the initial questline for each tribe. These quests typically involve completing a task or objective specific to that tribe and earn you reputation points upon completion. Additionally, participating in FATEs (Fully Automated Events) can also grant you reputation points with a specific tribe if it's tied to their faction. As you increase your reputation level with each tribe, you'll have access to new rewards and items for purchase.
